1st: W E L C O M E !

-------

flower nail is used as a Heating Core -- to make the center of the cake bake as fast as edges do, so cake comes out more evenly baked and w/out hard edges or undercooked center.

grease the nail really well.

put in center of pan w/ the big flat head down and point up.

pour in batter.

bake.

test for doneness like normal (toothpick comes out clean is the one I use)

and THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ... to whoever thought of the flower nail idea....

it is soo much better then using a heating core... I hated having to patch up the hole in the cake after using them.

so a big thumbs up from me to you.. thumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gif
