Okay so I just got the 12 in Heart pan to practice a cake I am doing for someone. I got it home only to realize it says to use a heating core. Of course I dont have one but I remember hearing you can use a flower nail?? Or any other ideas? I really appreciate your help on this!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't use heating cores. Simply use the nails head down and sprayed well.

I dont' use heating cores or flower nails, not even for my 16" round or my 14x22 sheet. Just baking strips, grease-only-no-flouring-the-pans, 325 degrees.
