Alot of times I find with fruit and flower decorations you have to make things totally random and sort of "wilder" looking so it looks natural.
Anyone have trouble with this? My brain is SO wired to think "even and congruent" and I find myself doing things so equally and "one on this side, one on that" its hard!
I just uploaded a raspberry wedding cake and I like how it turned out but the raspberries and greenery were pretty much random and I thought I was doing pretty good at it but then got the photo home and realized I had everything going at perfect diagonal angles! haha! Actually the "piles" were supposed to be diagonal but the other individual berries were supposed to be more random.
I have to laugh at myself! Of course when you WANT something perfectly straight and even, you can't do THAT either... ![]()

If you have ever watch Numb8rs on TV, there is no such thing as "random"
Random is actually equally spaced out... funky, but after I read that I realized it was true... Now, when I wan't a random pattern, I space it out first
which, of course, totally defeats the purpose of random.
