My daughter is turning 3 and I really want to make a tea party cake but have no idea of going about doing that. Can anyone help?

I have a teapot in my photos that I made and you can also look around in the galleries to find many cute teapots. I have also made one from the Martha Stewart Living Kids site that is really cute. Probably better for a 3 year old - I actually made it for my daughters 2nd birthday. I can't seem to find it on her site maybe somone else know where to find it.

I made one (in my photos) for my 3 year old niece that was just a regular round cake and then I did a bunch of chocolate transfer teacups, teapots, princesses drinking tea, cupcakes, etc and placed them around the cake. I liked the way it turned out. If you want to go that route, I can send you the patterns I used for the chocolate transfers.

I have one in my photos. I used the Wilton ball pan for the pot and the mini-ball for the tea cups. Oh yeah, I also put a mini-ball on top of the ball for the effect of the "lid" of the teapot. I did this before I discovered fondant so you could use that for the handle and spout. Best of luck! icon_biggrin.gif
