Yes, but remember that icing colors are Highly concentrated, and they tend to darken just as they do with icing, so only use a slight amount.

I do it a lot!! even when I made pancakes!!
I am not sure what kind of color Theresa uses but I have to use a lot especially with white mix!!
Maybe Theresa will share what kind of color you use
