hi all after reading about the great cake balls, i decided last night to give it a try, well it was horrible, they turned out really gooey is this the way there suppose to taste they looked great but boy did they stick to the roof of your mouth, what did i do wrong? I added a little coffee creamer and powder sugar and cocoa powder the cake i had was vanilla and a dash of kaluha any info will be great

I am sorry you didn't like them!

It sounds like you just had too much creamer and kahlua. When adding this stuff you need to add little by little to get a nice, slightly wet consistency to be able to make them into little meatballs. After you do this then you need to put them in the freeze for a while (i like to do them for about half hour to an hour) Then dip them then put them back into the freezer to firm up again!

I have been experimenting with these for the last couple weeks so if you have any more details or questions you would like to share to get them right I would be happy to answer them!
