I have used it once before (the Japanese cake in my gallery). It was really easy to use, but found the color to be lighter than I expected and wanted. I was using red. I wanted it to be much darker, and I ended up using the whole can. I would suggest if you are doing the whole background in one color like I did, don't start out with white frosting.

Are you talking about the wilton or betty crocker canned color spray stuff? And what size cake are you wanting to spray? I have used it and while it did ok you really have to watch out for how close you hold it to the cake, keep it moving so you don't overspray in one spot and there really isn't much control so you need to be sure to protect anything you DON"T want sprayed, LOL.

I did the bill the cat cake in my gallery with color spray before I got my airbrush. I used lots of papertowels to mask off (torn into bits and shapes as needed)
