Hi - does anyone know if there is a matrix or chart that talks about how much fondant you need to cover various sizes/shapes of cakes? I'm ordering Satin Ice for a job in October, I want to make sure I have enough but don't want to over-order it either since I hardly ever use it.

www.earlenescakes.com

SHe has a matrix for fondant and pearls. She is loaded with business info, too.

Wilton has a chart online. However, I always seem to do better if I add about 4 ounces to their recommended amount. Hope this helps!
