Okay, you guys know how expensive Kopy Kake airbrushs' are, right? Well, I mad a bet with my husband that I could get a airbrush system for less than $30.00 and I did it! I went on E-bay and found a airbrush with a hose for $6.00 and I then went to Wal-mart and bought a small aquarium air pump (the kind that uses a hose and sits on the table top) for $10.00. I also bought a bit of 1/4 inch air hose (just in case the hose that came with the airbrush didn't fit the nipple) for about $2.50. I came home, hooked everything up, an wallah! I now have an airbrush for cakes. I just couldn't see spending hundreds of dollars for a name when I could spend way less for the same thing. Oh, and I can get more power by up grading to a larger air pump. My husband is amused.

Sounds awesome! Let me know how that works out! I'd love to try airbrushing but can't justify the cost at this point....

That is pretty neat!! I wouldn't ever think to do that...I was going to ask for an airbrush system for Christmas, but I might try that. Great idea!!
