you have to fill out the free registration form on the nestle site and join the nestlechocolatier club/group whatever it's called lol, Then you get (supposedly lol) a coupon in the mail for free new product they have out in the mail soon to be in stores. And then the whole get 25 people to click on your page and we'll send you another free coupon. Pseudo-gimmick-lol
I'm with you Mac. Too many of these things involve you having to click on three areas of interest and then you get a barage of mailings forever that you have to ignore or unsubscribe to constantly. I'll click on the pages if it'll help others here but wait to get the chocolate when it hits the stores.

M80 is a web-promotion company and they have these promos all the time. They basically join up with other companies that have a new product out to spread the word. (usually major companies that most have heard of) I've never gotten spam from them and never had to give out my SS number or CC number.

Beware of the free chocolate site. Check on the Terms and Conditions page, which I don't think you can access without signing up. It has a long list of disclaimers and things they are not responsible for, including viruses and damage to your computer. Not worth it to me.
I opted out of the mailing..... don't know if I'll get any or not, but we'll see.... you can always "report spam" with your e-mail or most of the time your spam folder or something like that will catch it- I use GMAIL and it has a spam folder and I can just click "delete all spam" -preto! it's gone! If it ever sneaks into my regular inbox - I just have to hit "report spam" and anything from that sender is immediately sent to spam..... of course, if you get a ton of spam you can always complain to the company too.....
As for the virus thing - I think you just have to be careful - as always - with what you open. If you did sign up for the mailing list - just make sure you look at something before you open it in your mailing program - esp. something you don't recognize w/ an attachment -delete that right away!
We'll have to keep each other updated about the coupon, teh chocolate, and if we have any problems!
