I was hoping to get some help from anyone willing to answer, I am making a 12x15 cake, I am going to use the cake mix extender recipe, now this calls for two cake mixes plus the additives, will this be enough for the pan? it is a 2in. deep pan, I mean is the rule of thumb fill the pan half way? When I went to the pan instruction site it didn't show rectangular pans so thank you for helping.

Yes, it should be enough.

I use 2 boxes of cake mix for a 11x15 and I just pour it all in.

Hope that helps.

That should be fine. You want to fill your pan 2/3 full. One undoctored cake mix fills a 7x11 pan great. So you will be fine.
