I am wondering this question, because the last several cakes that I have baked (I mostly do pound cake) have not gotten done all the way through. I have even been using the flower nails as a heating core. I thought it may have something to do with the baking strips??? Anyone have any advice?

if you are just starting to have this problem I would suggest to get an oven thermometer if you do not have one yet and make sure your oven is heating correctly.

I would agree, check your oven temp. I have some bake even strips I have been using for 7 years and they still work fine.

So glad to know that they last that long. Yes, the temp is probably the problem.
