These are absolutely beautiful cakes (the others she has, too), and I know others would like to know how it is done. Does anybody have a clue??

wouldn't it be the same principal as doing the chocolate wrap and then buying the heart sheets and applying them?

Beautiful cake. You can buy sheets of CTs like this. They come on a clear backing and you just peal them off. Don't know if that's what she did, but I have seen sheets similar to this. You should just PM her. icon_smile.gif

I think that they must be the pre-printed ones that you can buy.

Thanks for all the speedy replies. I will PM her for instructions and also check out the transfer sheets you are talking about. I will let you know if she responds and if it is something different than suggested here...

I have seen transfer sheets with a design like this. I haven't actually done it, but the person at the cake store said that you just spread melted (tempered) chocolate on the transfer sheet. When the chocolate hardens and you remove the backing paper, the design is left on the chocolate.

ShirleyW wrote a tutorial on doing a chocolate wrap. You can find it at http://cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-ftopict-56654.html

The only difference is you would use the transfer sheet instead of a blank sheet of Mylar.

HTH.

I'm guessing the transfer sheet already had the red hearts and she used white chocolate to get the white background.

Thanks for sharing the picture, it is cool!

CakesbyLJ, thanks for that link, I do belive that is what she does! I did PM her, so maybe she will give some tips, but I did find this video on the website you passed on, and it shows how to do the transfer. Very cool!
Thanks again.
