I am making my mom's birthday cake and I want to make flavors that she likes. So here is what I was thinking: She really likes almond, so for one tier, I want to make WASC with almond custard and raspberry jam. Would that be a good flavor combination?

Then for the second layer I would like to do mint. I am thinking Chocolate with mint ganache. Would that be enough mint flavor or should I flavor the mix with chocolate mint creamer?

Please let me know your expert advice!

Thanks

Stephanie

I think that both of those flavor combinations sound wonderful. I am not an experst, but do lots of baking. I would either do the mix with chocolate mint creamer, or the plain chocolate cake with a mint ganache. The WASC cake is heavenly! Good luck.
