Can you make roses from chocolate buttercream?

If so, do you suggest a recipe?

YUP! This is a cake I made for my mom and my b-day a couple of years ago--a ton of roses: http://f3.yahoofs.com/users/41aa34d4zabd5bdef/842d/__sr_/c7cc.jpg?phQZI.EB.g_1pW_H

And here is one where I tinted the chocolate icing red and green: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/missyekelley/detail?.dir=842d&.dnm=8332re2.jpg&.src=ph

I use Wilton's class BC icing recipe (all shortening) and add 1 cup of cocoa powder to it and a lot more water. Tastes Yummy!!

Hi Missyyek,
I love your Chocolate roses. They do not look "flat"..
I don't like piped roses that look flat. icon_smile.gif
