Can you decorate with it or just frost?

Both. I use the Wilton BC recipe and just substitute the shortening with the hi-ratio shortening. Ice and decorate.
So just use whatever recipe that you have that call for shortening and replace with the hi-ratio and do as you normally would. HTH
