Hello,
I am doing a wedding cake next weekend and one the weekend after that and I need to get some fondant. I usually use MMF but I am getting sick of making it and it never turns out how I want. I found a place online that has ChocoPan for a reasonable price and I was wondering what users of this product think of it. Is it easy to work with? How is the taste? Also, I saw that they say you use less than traditional fondant. Is this true? If so, that would really save me some money. I have to order some today so that is why this is so urgent.
Any thoughts or comments are greatly appreciated,
Thank you,
HeatherMari[/b]

Hi,

I have not personally used it but I have heard that it taste very good, much, much better than fondant, however most people that I have talked to (at ICES) say that it is difficult to work with. You will definitely need a cool place to work with it and lost of powder sugar. I currently use Satin Ice, its easy to work with, comes in a wonderful array of colors and it takes pretty good so I have been told by my guests and customers.

Good luck, please let us know how you do.

Happy baking.

It tastes good but too stretchy for me. For chocolate fondant, I prefer Pettinice chocolate.
