Mine all turned out great. Heard back from MOB about VOX Amp groom's cake. The groom was floored by the cake. Everyone was standing around looking at it (like they do on Ace of Cakes...her words).
I actually over-slept and missed 2 hours of decorating on Saturday morning. SO in 4 hours, I covered the Amp cake in fondant, assistant cut out the details while I frosted and decorated 2 other wedding cakes--stoppng to put the details on the Amp. Finshed all in 4 hours. Delivered and set-up.
Came back home to mix frosting for a 3 tiered BD cake (3 different neon colors), fondant accents and bow. Was actually 30 mnutes late delivering this cake but it was for a good friend and she knew that I had 5 weddings that day. Delivered that one, had a bit of refreshements, then went back home to finish last 2 cakes. Delivered last cake at 5:30 for a 7:00 wedding.
