This is my second year taking part in a week-long Kids Kamp at a cooking school/store. It was a hit...Today the kids made "food cakes".
Hamburger cakes, taco cakes, spaghetti cakes and "chicken pot pie".

I baked the cakes and made the frosting, provided the bags and tips...the store reimbursed me for supplies such as ingredients, candy for decorating, boxes.

Looking forward to the Thursday class...it's cookies and candymaking 101.
I will bake the cookies and make the royal icing. The kids will dip large pretzel rods, marshmallows, oreos, and bananas. They will also make chocolate suckers.

I am so lucky to be involved with the wonderful ladies that own this store.

Oops--forgot to include that each class cost $35.00 and there are 2 a day. 10:30 to 12:30 for 5-9 yr olds. 2:00-4:00 for 10 and up.
