I know there is 12 whole pages devoted to this but I am low on attention span so I keep getting side tracked. SORRY! My question is I made icing last Sunday in my KA. I need to meake a cake tonight and the milk is still good through sunday will it be ok to use? I guess my questions is more about that I stored it in the metal KA bowl with plastic wrap over it for a week. I know metal reacts with some things and don't wanna make anyone sick.
Thanks

I would never store any food in a metal container for any length of time, even if it didn't contain milk. I wouldn't use the icing. I would have transferred it into a plastic container right away.

I figure best to be safe. I've thrown out my share of things too. So don't feel too bad. We've all done it.

Good luck with your cake!
