ok in the recipe it says three sticks well i do not have three sticks it is one big block how much is three sticks?

I am assuming you mean sticks of butter. In that case each stick is a 1/2 cup. So three sticks would be a 1 1/2 cups of butter. Hope this helps!

For future reference, those blocks of butter are usually 4 sticks. icon_biggrin.gif
