What would hapen if you baked cookies @ 275 degrees? Or is it possible and still have a NFSC to come out ok.
why do you want to do this? Does your oven only go up to 275?
No I bought a Otis spunkmeyer cookie oven on Ebay to maybe try to bake more cookies at one time and to have a consistant oven heat & even cookie.
The only problem I foresee is the cookies spreading before they set up. You can get around that problem by taking your cookie cutter to them as soon as you take them out of the oven. You'll have exposed edges, but it's better than big, shapeless blobs. This is only if they spread a LITTLE too much. If they get really thin, you won't be able to fix that.
I would NOT recommend cooking at a temp much below the recommended. I always do my cookies at 400 degrees. One time I forgot to up the default temp on my oven and they cooked at 350. They looked wonderful, but when they cooled and I tasted them, they were sort of raw in the center and I had to redo all 50 of them. I'll never make that mistake again!

I know for cakes you can not bake below 300 and expect it to turn out okay. I would assume you would have the same problem with the cookies. You could always try a couple test cookies, and that should tell you for sure without ruining an entire batch.
