I want to make a double layer spice cake but i have no idea what kind of filling to use in it. What would be the best filling to go with a spice cake? i want to make sure that it taste as good as i hope it will look...lol

I do a caramel apple filling w/cream cheese frosting in my spice cakes in the Fall. It is soooooo good !!! icon_smile.gif I can send you the recipe if you would like.

apple pie filling, iced with cinnamon buttercream.

I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!!
