Ok I am doing a 3 tiered cake the bottom & middle I will use the wooden dowl method because they are on top of eachother. The 6 inch however is on pillars & seperator plates. How do i do this with marshmellow fondant & stick the pillars in without riping the cake? icon_eek.gif

you should have no problem, i cant see why the fondant would rip. the pillars should just go straight through, If you would prefer, make a small hole first with a wooden dowel before you push your pillars in. but everything will be ok, im confident in that.
