I saw a sheet cake decorated in pink and white with 5 little girls heads and a "happy birthday Grace" written on top of the blanket. I need to find directions for making this cake and I hope to find it ASAP. The photo had a date on it of 3/11/06. If you have information on this cake or a similar one, please email me at [email protected]. THANK YOU! icon_sad.gif

It looks like cookie cutters may have been used to cut out the faces, and just used the grass tip to make the hair.

For the bodies, it looks like marshmallows may have been sliced lengthwise, and pressed into the buttercream to give it depth.

It appears that for the blanket, rolled fondant was layed over it, and then just used buttercream to do the cornelli lace.

Cute cake, I'll have to keep that was in mind!

I've done a similar type of cake before, and used Twinkies for the girls' bodies, and a thin layer of fondant for the blanket. Hope this helps! thumbs_up.gif
