I'm about 1/2 day in front of you guys, so if you're awake at night, I'm just having a regular day. If you see me on in (your) daytime, I'm the one with trouble sleeping.

Awake for a while now but staying up night seems to be the norm for now. Weather here is horrible either hot and humid or rain rain rain. My asthma is on the warpath, so thank heavens I have the CC site to keep me occupied at night.

I am off today, but normally I'm at the bakery by 5am. So even on my off days I'm still up at the butt-crack of dawn icon_cry.gificon_mad.gificon_lol.gif

Besides, do ya'll really think I stay away from the bakery on my off days? HA icon_biggrin.gif

Wow Ursula40,

Shanghai China! Wow that is so unreal to be able to talk to someone in China. Have you been there long? What is it like? I always wanted to go to China to see the Terra Cotta Army. That is just amazing.

Well yes I suppose we have been here long, 3 1/2 yrs now. But I've spent most of my life in Asia, from Hong Kong, South Korea, Indonesia and now China, only 7 yrs in total in Germany. We hope to be able to stay a lot longer. We like it here and the terracotta army is definately worth a visit or two. In fact China is fascinating, it's gigantic, with a lot to see

Dustbunny - I woke up a few nights ago, wide awake at 3 a.m. thinking about how I was going to decorate my boss' birthday cake the next morning. And I couldn't go to sleep that night either wondering what I would put on it, too. So, no, you're not the only one who dreams cakes!

Ursula40,

I envy you your travels. I think I have wanted to go to China since the early 70's. I just find the culture fascinating. I love Chinese food and would love to try the "real" thing. How lucky you are!

Yeah tonight it took me 20 min just to get on my computer. I need to get a new one but the thought of transferring all my stuff over is too daunting. So I have only had 2 1/2 hours sleep today and tired as he## but Cake central was calling me..... icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

Auntsushi, Dustbunny - I am the same way....I will have a few cake projects in the future and I will wake up with a few ideas and sketch them quickly before I forget......
Every time I move, and have to sew drapes, or curtains or some type of window covering I have to live in the house for a while and then I start dreaming of ideas of how the curtains should look and then sew from those ideas.....
The last couple of weeks, I have had trouble sleeping, headaches, etc, I think it is because the weather is changing, we can feel the coolness in the air...
I always hate when there are no projects in the future, I always try to have soemthing to look forward to making...
