Sounds yummy to me. I just have even pickier eaters in my house! My husbands list of "what not to eat" begin with tomatoes, onions, peppers, mushrooms and keeps on going!!!! My son is worse because you add ALL fruits to the list and he also only likes chocolate candy...no hard candy, suckers, gum, etc. Of course that is not all bad on my son's part and I'm not really complaining, I think.... icon_confused.gif

I'll share a super quick and yummy dinner that works for all of our picky eaters. Pizza pockets...buy Pillsbury pizza dough in a tube, unroll and cut into 4-6 squares/rectangles icon_lol.gif . Add pizza sauce...about 1 tbsp; choice of toppings; I do 5-6 turkey pepperoni [you SO can't tell the difference!!], and mozzarella cheese..about 1-2 tbsp [for my own, I'll add some mushrooms too]. Once you have all your desired toppings in it; close it up by folding it up and covering all the 'innards'. Bake until golden brown...hmm, 400 degrees for 5-15 minutes [can't remember exact but this is a good estimate]. YUMMY!

Let it cool down a lot for kids and I'll 'write' on the top of mine before it goes in the oven because nobody in my house wants my mushrooms--and I don't want to share! icon_biggrin.gif Usually just swipe a line of pizza sauce on the outside but you could probably write an initial or something if you have lots of different kinds. My son...his is just cheese and sauce! Told you he was picky!

Those sound yummy! I have a quick one as well:
Make instant rice substitute half of the water with catalina dressing
Add cooked chicken and cooked veggies.

heavenscent, No way. I so just made something just like this. Only I didn't have rachel ray sitting in front of me and thought I was the first to invent. Here I thought I was a genius. I added a tad of oyster sauce also. Tasted great.

That's funny Sandi, I thought I had a weird daughter - she too ONLY likes chocolate, nothing else for candy at all! She also only will eat icing from my cakes (and she wants it to be chocolate).

Thanks, always looking for a new chicken recipe!

I can relate! My son will finally eat 'vanilla' cake but not vanilla ice cream!! He wouldn't eat ice cream until....sheesh, he was 3 or older [he's 5 1/2 now] but now my daughter...I think she's getting an ice cream cake for her 3rd birthday...I think she likes the ice cream better than cake icon_eek.gif. They both LOVE watching me make frosting...waiting to dip little grubby fingers in it if I turn my back [good thing I know why they are there!!] icon_lol.gif

To funny I never would have yhoght that on my own. Now I have to record her often to expand my meals.

Thanks for the pizza sounds great I have a 3 year old & this sounds great. The rice sounds great as well.

Sandi your kids sound just like me when I was little. I drive my husband crazy because I always order the same things when we go out to eat. When I was little I loved oranges but hated orange juice. Loved ice but hated water. I could go on for hours about my other strange eating habits icon_biggrin.gif
