Geez! Thanks, I was just there last saturday. I didn't know it was going out of business. I took my first class there when they were located in the Alley. The owner is very nice. I hate to hear she's leaving. I don't think she been in the new location a year yet. Anyway, I quess I'll go over there tomorrow and pick up a few things. Thanks for the information.

She said she was in that location for 1 1/2 years. Do you know of any other supply stores other than Sandy's? It would be a shame if we only had 1 choice.

I only know of Sandy's. I went to Chicago cake walk on 95th. But wasn't impressed at all. Not much there. Cake pan Alley's web site. is "Cakepanalley.com."

I like Cakewalk Chicago because they have all the new gadgets, or they can get them for you. For basic supplies I go to Sandy's mostly.

I am the owner of Cake Pan Alley and first of all I would like to thank all my customers for their patronage and friendship these past few years. Besides Sandy's there is Kitchen Krafts on Taft St. in Merrillville. You take Route 30 east to Taft Street (The Great Escape is on the corner and it is a stoplight), turn north (left) and take that all the way down to the Strack & VanTil mall on your right hand side, they are located in there. They are wonderful people and very helpful and I would suggest going there for advice and help before going to Sandy's. I plan on closing at the end of the month so now is the time to stock up on things. I will miss the shop and talking cake and candy with everyone, but do to personal reasons, now is the time to close the shop. Hopefully I will cross paths with some of you in the years to come. Good luck to everyone and keep on baking!
