Sorry folks, I have saw where this has came up a time or 2 or 3 or 4 icon_lol.gif

I looked through some older post, but didn't really see anything that would help out to much.

Just wondering if anybody knows how to shape one ? And what size pans you would use ?

Thanks.

Any Luck?? I did a tractor cake a couple of weeks ago. Baked a 8x8 cake and stacked and carved it into a small tractor. I also did a haystack.

sketch...

the engine is two layers carved (dotted lines didn't scan -- drat!)

seat is also two layers with little bump made from trimmings.

weight at front built up w/ trimmings.

wheels are cake rounds on edge

support board up with dowels, or blocks or clear tupperware...what ever you can get to work for you.

sketch based on this toy: jd toy tractor
be sure to view the enlarged image of the toy for all the details to add in fondant or gumpaste.
