I'm making a jungle themed, king kong cake for a friend's son's 2nd birthday. I was wondering if anyone else had done cakes with a jungle type theme and could help me with ideas and inspiration. Thank you!

We have done and 3 their cake with one being a jungle layer on it. Hope it gives you some ideas.

You can dip pretzel rods in melted candy melts/chocolate and make trees...then pipe leafs on them, make some little bananas outta yellow fondant...I have a Monkey Island cake in my pics where I used this method.
It was so fun to do!

I haven't done King Kong, but just last week did a "Jungle Cake". I don't know if it would help you with any ideas, but it's in my photos. Good luck with your cake and be sure to post a picture!
