I'm one of very few from PA in this site. As I read through the forums, I realized there aren't too many of us from PA here...at least those of us who actually put our 2 cents in. Anyway, I live in Bloomsburg, PA ( in the northeast) Home of the Bloomsburg Fair. That's where I enter my cakes for judging.
I have 2 girls ages 6 and 3. I will be returning to school for nursing this coming Jan. I can't wait. As of right now, decorating is just a hobby of mine, along with scrapbooking, sign language, playing trombone, singing solos and with groups, crafts of any sort...
sorry...I have many interests! Too many as my DH says. He should consider himself lucky that he is still opne of my interests...HAHA!
Anyway, just putting myself out there to see where all th Pennsylnanians are!

Thanx for responding...I used to live in Waynesboro, only 1/2 hour from Gettysburg. We used to go up there for the best hot dogs!!! (at least in my DH opinion).
As far as my own shop...no. I just do cakes for friends and family. I will be going to Central Susquehanna LPN Career Center in January. I just took my entrance exam on Friday and I think it went well. As much as I would like to be an RN, I don't know about going to school for that long...Not to mention, not sure if I'm going to like it. My mom works at giesinger and my SIL works at one of the clinics in Bloomsburg. I go to the dentist in Elysburg. We come to the park there to play with Mom's group from our church.
Small world, it has been a pleasure meeting both of you...maybe we'll see each other around!!!

I'm not from Pennsylvania, however, my son went to Gettysburg on a Scout Trip (he's 12) and when he came home he decided we were moving there.. I was like.. OH REALLY???? He just loved it there so much. No we didn't move, but he really loved it there.
