I've entered the Fair in the Cake Mix with your Special Ingredients. Does anyone have a recipe that your family and friends can't get enough of that uses a mix and other ingredients?

I've heard of adding different flavored pudding mixes to the cake mixes to add a different flavor to them, but I haven't tried this myself yet.

I'm not sure if you'd need to add more wet ingredients to it, but it would be a good trial and error thing to do. icon_smile.gif

I alwyas get rave reviews with my german chocolate cake. Add about a half can of the coconut pecan filling to your cake mix. It's delicious! Makes great cake balls too!

sounds like our "tricks with a mix" category at the Monterey County Fair. I absolutely love better than sex chocolate cake, using a chocolate cake mix. Allrecipes dot com has a good one listed.

My friends and family like the Dark Chocolate Fudge cake with a Cherry Pie filling. This one has bits and pieces of cherries mixed with the chocolate and they just love it. icon_biggrin.gif
