I have a client that wants petite fours tyhat look like scrabble letters. I was planning on using crepes, to make sure they are thin, but I can't figure out what to use for the outside. I am going to use raspberry filling. any ideas??

buttercream, or fondant

I'd use a poured fondant to give nice smooth top and sides, just make sure you cake has good, sharp edges. Maybe a ganache, if you can make a white chocolate (colored) ganache

I'd use white chocolate ganache.

Poured fondant would be fine, but if you have never done it, practice first! It took me while to get it!
