Looks good to me. Is it for a graduation? I like the three dimensionality of the elephants snout/nose/thing (can't think of the word). I wonder though how will all the grey background look on the cake? I'm not really sure if that will be a problem or not.
I think it looks great! ![]()
Photoshop seems like such a great program!! Do you know if it works on Macs?
I agree about the type on the banner being too small, and that you should make the elephant slightly smaller. It draws away from the rest of the design, the stadium, the ribbon.
Otherwise, I think it is a really great design.

I agree about making the banner bigger and the elephant smaller.
Also, I think the trees should be removed from behind the stadium.
Thanks everyone for your opinions. I created it to look like a car tag I seen on a website. I will attach the car tag. It's going to be full sheet cake but just 1/2 sheet image. I am going to make a frame to go around it and paint it with silver luster dust and then airbrush gray and maroon on the rest of the cake.
It looks great, but IMHO you should downsize the elephant and maybe move him down a bit or make the trees taller just so there is not so much white on top. And looking at the car plate, a cool thought I had was to stick with the way the banner is on the car plate and put Congratulations on the left, Class of ???? in the middle and his name on the right. Just a thought!
It will look totally cool whatever you decide! I can't wait to see the finished product! Very creative!

Okay how about this?
That's great- except now you have to make the font and background on the banner contrasting. You lose readability when you put dark on dark, especially if the dark background is textured. A light light grey on the banner background would work, but I also liked the white. Or you could use the colours you're going to airbrush the rest of the cake to give some continuity. White would be the most visible. On the one hand the white banner would balance the white sky, on the other hand that's a lot more white on there. Maybe the silver you were going to use.
Just remember the most important design principle for text is readability- dark on light or light on dark works. Dark on dark or light on light does not work.
Great photoshopping btw
Love the image!
What would it look like if you used the red for the writing on the banner?
ROTFLMAO!!!!! that's what ya' get when you ask us for our opinion...... ![]()
Very cool cake...
I wish I had a edible image printer ![]()
I like it both ways--with either the black or red writing. I'd go back to the grey sky, though.
I think the last one with the red writing is THE ONE!! It add's just a bit more color and you can read it better than the black! It looks great!

Okay red is the winner than and I can't believe I did it on the white background-lol. I use the grey background. Thank you everyone for your opinions and advice! CC is the best!!!!
OK, I know I said that the previous ones were great, but I think you have nailed it this time! Can't wait to see the finished cake!!! ![]()
Thank you. I'll post the finished cake at the end of September which is when I have to make it. Thanks again!!
Christy, I know you're probably done and I do like the final version you will use but I just have to mention one thing. I liked how you previously had congratulations michael all on one line. For some reason to me, it just looks odd for the name to be on the right. If you can't increase the height of the banner to add his name under congratulations, can you add it outside the banner below congratulations like the red letter A shown on the actual license? Then add another 2006 on the other side of banner? Just had to throw that out there. Can't wait to see the cake next month.
