I've made this before and don't remember it being grainy. Has anyone else had this problem? Maybe I didn't mix the sugar and water long enough?

Well, that's what I'm thinking. I was just wondering if anyone who has made it seems to think it's grainy. I'm not sure if it's sopposed to be or if it should be smooth. I did have some IMBC next to it because I was taste comparing. The IMBC is very silky smooth but I liked the WBH house frosting because it was sweeter but it had a grainy texture.
