How does a cake taste when a recipe calls for sour cream. All I can picture is the sour cream flavored chips.
Can anyone tell me if it tastes different from what I'm imagining.
They taste rich and moist and the tangy flavor isn't evident. My standard chocolate cake calls for 16 oz. sour cream and it rocks! I hate the stuff and you couldn't pay me enough to eat it out of the carton but I love cooking with it. ![]()
I used the CC Recipe - Enhanced Cake Formula, I double it, takes longer to cook. The cake all turn out beautifully. I think the sour cream makes it so nice.
