I take it that the Wilton Instructors are not allowed to enter any Wilton contests???? icon_confused.gif

Just asking because TECHNICALLY we get our pay checks from the stores and NOT Wilton!

Read the fine print, but I do think WMI's are allowed to enter the Wilton Contests.

I think they are allowed too. Last instructor meeting that was mentioned. WMI are not actually employees of Wilton.

Hmmm...this is all I could find in the fine print about employees, etc...

GENERAL RULES: Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Quebec), who are 18 years of age or older as of date of entry. Employees of Wilton Industries, its respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and internet agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. Void in Quebec and where prohibited by law.

if they aren't paying you, you dont' work for them, and thus you are not an employee. Affiliates and subsidiaires have specific meanings, and Michaels, for example, is neither.

You can email Wilton and ask or email your supervisor as well. I'm pretty sure they were talking about this on the WMI Yahoo Group recently saying that we were allowed to enter.

Yes there is! It is just for WMIs only. To become a member send an email to [email protected]

Selina will ask you what account you teach out, your supervisor name and your WMI number. You can include that in your email to her and she can get you set up on the board faster. icon_smile.gif

Hi! Wilton Instructors ARE allowed to enter their contests as they are not employees of Wilton... I had fun with the last one and made it to the semifinals with my cookies! Whoo hoo!!.... anyway, have fun! icon_biggrin.gif
