Do you think maybe that with it being the weekend of 07.07.07 and the run up to it, that maybe a lot of people have been tied up decorating wedding cakes and so just not had the time to spare? I belong to another forum and it has also been quiet.

I want to comment on cakes, especially uncommented ones, because I know it feels great to have a comment posted about my work.
But when I click on uncommented photos, it says that I don't have access. What am I doing wrong? Probably not holding my piping bag at a 90 degree angle while clicking. help me

Well I prefer to go into the unanswered posts when I'm on here and try to help whoever I can if I cant then I can at least give them a bump or a lead to an old thread on the subject. Honestly there is sooo much controversy over what you say on the pics that I dont bother. I mean you can say nice pic, nice color great idea but to me they are not always sincere and if you try to give constructive criticism some people just take it the wrong way and bite yr head off or complain in another thread. So for now I'll just continue trying to help the posters that have questions. It seems that the questions get changed so quickly that sometimes they just get lost in the shuffle.

I would like to add that if I favourite a picture, I make sure that I also tell the creator I have viewed their cake and it's going in my favourites. I am so impressed that there is so much creative talent out there in the big wide world. Keep up the good work.!!!

Well, I've done my part and looked at 10 pics and posted replys in the most recently uploaded section.
I joined the Gallery Supports a while back and I was posting comments every single time I saw uncommented pictures and then I stopped.
It kinda sucks really bad when you comment on so many pictures and say such really nice things about them and then no one says crap about your pictures. I mean I understand my work isn't the greatest but even someone being a total jerk would be better then not getting any comments at all and that's what I've found alot of my stuff isn't being commented on just like with threads I post I hardly ever get replies unless I raise hell...
I have not been on for three days. Due to making my youngest son's brides wedding cake for the 16th. She is wanting hydrangia cascading all over the cakes. That will be four tiers. So I am making hundreds of flowers to go on the cakes. No time to post here after today. I have to do at least a thousand I think to cover the cake. Plus figure what kind of icing to cover the cake that will be in a heat wave and not be the traditional BC.

Maybe people get tired of waiting so long to get into the gallery to make a comment. I know I have tried several times today and gave up. It is about 117 today and I would rather be in the pool. I try and do it in the wee hours of the morning when it seems to run faster. I tried 3 times and kept getting error page. Maybe later.

lmfao well it proved my point when I got 5 emails telling me I had new comments on photos after making that post... I guess from now I need to raise hell just to get someone to listen to me or pay attention to me??? and I love you too Brandi! lol
My feelings get hurt when my stuff isn't commented on, which is most of the time-I'll take negative comments even--anything-- and I'll admit that I don't post as much as I used to because of it.
