I jst pick this product up and I am wondering if anyone has tried it?
I have a few of them, but have never used them. LOL, I'd like to know what people use them for??
I use Wilton "Food Writers" to write on Fondant, and it works great. I'm not sure if you are talking about the same product. Mine are edible markers.

I agree with LittleLinda- they are great...I don't think my edible markers are made by Wilton (not that it matters), but they are one of my favorite items! I have used them alot recently. They are great for detail work, writing, etc. I have them in a set of 8 colors I think and have used every one.
The Icing Writers are something different than the edible food markers. I have the food markers and have used them and really like them. I also have icing writers I haven't used.... Not sure what to use them for?
Thanks for the input. I tried it tonight. I traced a logo on o wax paper with it. I did about 5. I hope I can get one of without cracking it. The next problrm will be figuring out how to atach it. If anyone has any suggestions, I would love the input.
I used the Wilton White Fondent Icing Writer to make the pinstripes on a Jack Skellington cake I made for my wife's birthday tomorrow.
I thought it did pretty good although it was a little runnier that expected. That made up and down stripes a little hard to do because it ran. But it did clean up easily. It also dried pretty quick. Makes an excellent fondant glue... i used it to attach my neck on Jack. I put this directly on MM fondent without any problems... stuck down and didn't ruin any part of the fondent at all.

I have used the Wilton fondant Icing Writer several times now & I really love the flexibility in it's uses. I have used it to make the dots on some ladybugs (yellow cake in my gallery), the centers of some fondant blossoms(green grass cupcakes & yellow cake in gallery) & recently started using it to trace scroll work on top of a cake board. It gives it a nice 3D look. I'm a big fan of it
