I am in the middle of mixing up a simple cake mix. I had all my ingredients out, had exactly the 4 eggs i needed. I have everything ready in the bowl, ive added 2 of the eggs, then what happens i drop my only 2 eggs to the floor icon_cry.gif . Does anyone have any brilliant sustitute i could use, rather than having to pack up and go all the way to the grocery store!! icon_cry.gif

got any tofu in the house ? You can also use mashed bananas+ a bit of baking soda or egg whites.

applesauce is often used in those pesky low-fat recipes as an egg subsitiute, I believe.

Here's a link to a page with several substitutes:

Not sure how any of them will work, as I've never tried them, but I hope it helps some!

applesauce is used as a substitute as oil not eggs. icon_sad.gif the eggs serves as the "binder" holdin it together. Kinda like it does in meatloaf! Im so gunna check that site out! Hope u got everything worked out!
