This may be the simplest thing to do...but how do you all quote someone when you post a reply?? icon_confused.gificon_confused.gif I've tried clicking on quote, but it quotes the person whole message. How do I just pull out a sentence or two??

I know I must be missing something here..... detective.gif

When I quote someone and just want a sentence or two, I click the Quote button and just delete everything that I don't want.

Okay..I tried and it didn't highlight the box of the person I was quoting! icon_cry.gif

What am I doing wrong? Seems too simple, but....

You have to be careful not to delete any of the quotation boxes.

It took me awhile to figure it out too..click on the quote button to the right of the message of the person you want to quote (not the quote button above) then you can just delete what you dont want. I dont know if there is a way to just quote a line or something. I tried highlighting then hitting the quote, but it doesnt work.

edited because I dont know my left from right!

I was trying it out, because I've never done it before. I clicked the button in the upper right of your message that says, "quote." I took out part of the message, but didn't delete the brackets. thumbs_up.gif
