Sooooo...what're You Gonna Use Your 50% Coupon On?

Well, this coming weekend is Labor Day and they almost always have the 50% coupons from Michaels.... I was just in there today deciding what I will be buying! ( Using mine, my Moms & My neighbors!) 
So I think I will get the wire small and large tier set and a set of heart shape wedding pans..... I can't wait!
I would like to get the deluxe set of tips....maybe the $120 box with the red top to store stuff in. I think it comes with some tips too. That coupon will bring it down to only $60! Yeah!
Does anyone know if Hobby Lobby will price match? I doubt it but it would be nice. I have a HL 10 minutes away & Michaels is an hour at least.
What's a Hobby Lobby? I've never heard of it before.
Oh LORDIE just what I DONT need my hands on is a coupon for Michaels LOL - I went to Vancouver (Big city) for the sushi cake I just did- was in the city for 2 days- went to the big improved cake deco store I always used to go to- OMG I coulda bought the whole store out - nice feeling having EVERYTHING at your fingertips unlike my local tiny town hobby store that has one section for cake stuff and the rest is well, hobby stuff lol. Ok so uh 90 dollars later 
I actually did well and didnt buy frivolous things lol- bunch of tips (essential ones) that I dont have, plus the BIG BIG BIG americolour bottles YAY and she had Lorann oils but I bought some other smaller bottles instead- basic flavourings just tso try- and a fondant smoother- we shall see how that goes LOL. And I got a letter press WEEEEE I have some practicing to do now LOL.
That's funny, the other thread that mentioned 'confession' and I get dropped off into the cake store on Saturday morning like a kid in a candy store- and I thought OMG I wont hardly spend money on clothes without thinking long and hard first, but I go and blow 90 bucks in 5 minutes at the cake store LOL
I think I will add to my stand collection, even though I don't know where I will put them!
I think the OP was talking about the possibility of a coupon coming out this weekend coming up in their mail flyer. Where I live, it is included in the Sunday paper. But usually their coupons are only good for one item, so I'm wondering if this one might be different?
I will probably buy multiple newspapers just for the Michael's ads.
I'm pathetic.

Was there a Michaels coupon this week??
We didn't get a Michaels sale paper in the Sunday paper this week, which is unusual.
In the summer months the ad/coupon usually comes out every other week. Closer to thanksgiving and xmas they will start having them weekly agian.
I can't wait. I've been holding out for a few things. I need to get more cake boards and some square pans and some tips and and and.......................... 
There was not a Michael's ad in last Sunday's paper ( 8/27) but a one page flyer came in today's junk mail with the 50% off coupon for Sun/Mon only and another 40% coupon for Tue-Sat. So watch your mailbox!
I think I want to get the new swirly design impression rolling pin or perhaps more round pans.

I haven't used my past two Michaels or Hobby Lobby coupons. But I plan on using the next one, but not on cake stuff. *ducking*
I won't say I have it all because I don't, but I have everything I want or need for now, except little things or things I use regularly like decorating bags. But I just bought a box of 100 bags so I'm covered there for a little while at least.
So my coupon is going to get used on yarn. I just recently learned to crochet. Completed my first afgan last week and have promised my nephew one. He wants one that is super soft so I'm going to attempt chenille. At $6 something a thing I figured it would be a good use for the coupons instead of cake stuff I really don't have to have at the moment.
There was no coupon this week which is pretty common right before a holiday weekend because later in the week ( maybe in the Wednesday paper ) they usually put a 50% off between 8 am - 12 and then maybe a 30% of entire order from ? - ? and then a regular 40% to use later in the week...
I am also completely pathetic and will hit up everyone I know for theirs and then drag my kids with cash to stand in line.....
I don't have any sep. plates or anything so I will use the 50% on something bigger and the 30% on a bunch of small stuff..... I was bummed though because I need the hex pans set for a wedding in December and all they had was the heart.... I came across the petal set years ago before I started decorating and sold it!!! 
I would love, love, love to have it now!

Were you allowed to use it on your entire purchase? I don't have a Hobby Lobby, but I have AC Moore. They always have a 40% coupon off ONE item and it can't be on SALE.
