I am walking out the door right now with a 4 tier all Buttercream cake to an outdoor wedding. The heat index is about 100 here today. I hope it does not fall over until after the reception. The bride insisted on BC. I hope the cake survives. I will post pictures when I get back. Hope everyone else's cakes are going well.
Good luck! Down here in Charlotte we are in the middle of horrible summer storms and I have two more cakes to go today!!!! Both buttercream!!!! I know what you are going through! Both of my are going off at 6:00!!!!
Just got back, and the thing was melting like crazy, the bride got some topper that did not want to stay on the cake. I got them to move the cake indoors to the air conditioning, and now it looks like a storm is coming our way. That is why I do not like outdoor weddings!!
