I have an order for a McDonalds Themed Cake. It's for a owner of McDonalds and it needs to feed 150. The daughter is planning it and wants some sort of Happy Meal Box incorporated in the design with maybe a sheet cake on the side. I was thinking I could do a Happy Meal Box, hamburger and fries as the centerpiece cake and a bunch of mini burger cupcakes for the rest. Does anyone else have any ideas? This is a really fun cake idea and I want to make it awesome!
Would be easy to do Ronald McDonald on some of the cupcakes. Be sure that you won't get into trouble for doing the McDonald stuff as far as copyright issues. If it is for the owner of a McDonald's, surely he wouldn't say anything.

how about a BIG pair of RM shoes? that would feed a lot of people?
what if you did the sheet cake as a table, and then made the happy meal like a purse cake, and then had a burger (or nuggets) and drink made out of cake, and cake or fondant fries set up on the "table" like someone had the happy meal contents all spread out. You might even want to check and see what the toy is during the time of the party.
That way you would get servings out of the sheet cake and the happy meal at the very least.
I like the idea of the sheet cake being a table with the happy meal on top of it. You could even do the hamburger cupcakes to got with it if you still need more servings. Good luck and don't forget to post a pic when your through.
