Can anyone help me with a search for simple elegant cakes? I love all of the creativity with butttercream and fondant but I'm looking to also build up my portfolio with some simple but elegant cakes that I don't spend 5 hours decorating. TIA!!

look through the past two contests we just had. Both were wedding cake themed, and some of them are very simple yet quite elegant.

We're all in agreement--building our inventory of photos but can't spend 5-10 hours decorating a cake just for the picture. Thanks for the heads-up.

There is a lot of them in the gallery..but keep in mind, not everything simple is elegant.. it is how you execute your decorations. also placement of your decorations and color contrast. icon_smile.gif
