Can I put edible paper on fondant that is not dried?

I know that E/P needs moisture but... I'm in a bind here-

What I'm trying to do is to put "Best of Luck etc on a piece of fondant ... my writing area is too small for freehand... I miscalculated ...

Help what should I do - Cake is due tomorrow

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi... not sure of the design or style of your cake, but what about taking a cut-out shape of fondant (heart, star, oval, etc....) and write on it with royal icing, let it dry overnight with a bit of a curve and prop it upright on cake? See pic below with upright fondant fan.
