Has anyone out there ever heard of or used a deLonghi mixer? I'm looking into getting a new mixer and came across this on ebay. It is a 7 quart bowl and the motor power is higher then a kitchenaid 600 series. Any help would be great. I would love opinions on any and all mixers. What are the best out there?
Thanks
Lisa

For my backup mixer, I have the Kenwood 7qt which is now the Delongi 7qt and looks like this: http://www.comforthouse.com/kenstanmix7q.html

It works well but noisy as heck. I love that it is a tilt-head model with a big bowl. The plastic shield works better than the KA models. The main thing that I don't like about it is that the bowl does not have a handle.

If I were in the market for a new mixer, this Viking 7qt will be on top of my list: http://www.cooking.com/products/shprodde.asp?SKU=304982

A while back, someone mentioned they got a great deal on the delongi and offered the website. Sure enough it sounded great and was a fantastic price. I started googling user ratings and opted not to buy it after I read most people said the motor burned out very quickly.
