need help ![]()
As far as a budget goes, I would make the MMF from this site. It is easy, and it tastes good too. All you need is 16oz. of large marshmallows, 2 lb. bag of powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons of water, and add alittle flavoring of your choice. The directions on how to make it are on here under recipes and there is an article on how to make and use fondant!
Thank you so much.will try it today when my son is asleep if not it is not going to get done.
can i roll it ?I will need alot of help from u![]()
I use fondant all the time. Try not to roll it too thin and be careful when you move it, I lay it over my rolling pin. Remeber there are always ways to hide those imperfections that only we see.
Be brave and good luck.
I have only worked with wilton (and will have to use only wilton when i teach) but am dying to try mmf at home. let me know how it goes?!
dear ladies, i am happy to inform u all that i did make the MMf and it was delicious
.however i had a problem rolling it out.can any one give me advice?I rubbed my mat with oil as the recipie suggested before rolling should i have used powdered sugar instead?
Thanks for all ur support.will try again after ur replies. ![]()
I use icing sugar (I think it is the UK name for powdered sugar) to dust my surface when I roll out fondant and I believe they are similar to use. I had a look on http://www.cakecentral.com/article47-How-to-Make-and-Decorate-with-Marshmallow-Fondant-MMF.html and it suggests cornstarch, but I haven't tried it.
