okay, I have just started decorating, and I find myself practicing all the time. Yesterday, I decorated my brownies with buttercream icon_eek.gif Am I going crazy, or am I just addicted?!? lol

Sorry to say you are addicted and there is no 12 step program for cake decorating addictions....YET!

kate, you are not alone. I always volunteer to make a birthday cake when I'm invited to a party. I won't let every opportunity to decorate slip out of my hands.... LOL

But I still have a lot to learn that's why i can't stop....

When my business partner/friend Sue and I started, we would decorate anything that wasn't nailed down! We would make practice cakes, ice and decorate them, then scrape the icing off and do it again and again until the cake would start to fall apart. Then we would give the cakes out at the hospital my husband works at. Now when ever they see me they say "Got Cake??" I need that t-shirt!

Practice makes perfect!

I too am new to cake decorating and it is very addictive!! After my normal haha 8 hour day at the bakery where I worked, I will stay for hours practicing and coming up with new ideas. I love it! I can't stop! I haven't been on Ebay since I joined CC. icon_biggrin.gif

very funny! I have also piped out buttercream, scraped it back in the bag and done it over again...trying to do BC roses, but I pretty much stink at it so far icon_mad.gif glad to know I am not the only crazy one!!
