I work in a grocery store and we charge $1.50 per strawberry for large strawberries. If you are doing stem strawberries I would charge $2 per strawberry. It also depends on what kind of chocolate you are using. If you use really good chocolate like Ghirardelli or Valrhona then you can charge much more..besides the fact that better chocolate will probably get you good oo's and ah's regardless of the pricing. It's chocolate and strawberries...YOU CAN NEVER GO WRONG!!!!

I am new to this but I priced them this week at $7/pint plus the cost of the strawberries. That way I could keep my same price in any season, and tack on the extras. Plus I know some strawberries will be larger and smaller and you never really know how many you'll get in your package. If I had a business I would probably charge more, but this was not to go on a cake, the customer just wanted a few because she was already placing an order. After I told her my price she wasnt interested anymore anyway. So who knows.
True indydebi. I just gave my customer an estimate number of berries per pint. I'm too small to buy flats and sort through and give her just 20 of the biggest best looking and then do who knows what with the rest. If it were however a bride wanting one for each place setting, other arrangements would be made. My pricing would work best if the berries were to be served on the dessert table, or even cascading on a cake where you just need a certain look, not a ceratain number of berries.
